Dominating 1st which was to be expected from Canuck.
If Canuck couldn't bring their best game given the history and
cir***stance they may as well bring Nielson and his white flag.
Canuck out hit Hawk by large margin, no surprise for same reason. Can
Canuck keep up the hits... I highly doubt that. Other than those two
anticipated items, I never felt for a second Hawk were out of the
game. I suspect Canuck may have played their best game last night.
Remember how fun it is to watch Luongo cry )

Confidence is high.

Everyone knows everybody loves fights. They better start listening to
the people who are at the game and pay the money than the twits
upstairs who get in for free.

The Blackhawks dominated in the second and third period. The main
opponent was the goal post - four times !!!!

Chances are the goal post will get out of the way.

The last two periods certainly had better flow.
There were more goal posts hit last night than any game I can
recall... from both sides.
Let us be fair to Canuck, they did play helluva a game last night.
However, I was impressed Hawk were never rattled or taken out of their
game. There will be a lot less nerves on one of the benches Friday

Hope Canuck coaching staff feels they need to turn this series into a
bang-em-up.... that will indeed be history repeating itself.

Yeah, you're right. The Hawks will only improve as the series goes on and
the Canucks have already blown their load. Also, their coaches are pretty
simple, hockey-wise, and liable to play right into the Hawks strength.
As a Canucks fan, I feel like I don't need to watch anymore. The Hawks won a
year ago so the result now is inevitable.

Been good, how you been?
If you're sensing just a little sarcasm either your senses are dulled or
there's a callous covering the spot where the 'how-the-mighty-have-fallen'
realization hides.
(grin!)

Cheers, too. Should be a good post-season.

We can only hope Canuck aren't as on Friday as you are tonight.
All is well, thanks for asking.

I didn't think Canadians were sarcastic.

But anyway, back to the Hawks, if Duncan Keith doesn't get his
head out of his keister, then they have no hope. Another thing I
noticed last night is that the Hawks were making a lot of big,
sweeping curves on the ice. They weren't stopping and starting
like they should.
