Default jordon says he could beat Kobe and Lebron

http://insider.espn.go.com/insider/magazine/story?id=1826127

Jordan looks at Kobe Bryant and LeBron James-or at their youth, anyway-with
some envy, because the old shark in him very much wants to devour them both.
Unsolicited, he mentions them by name, and then this: "Mentally, I could
kick their butts. Physically, they have the advantage."

No doubt about it: it's hard to be as much of an arrogant jerk as
Jordan.

In the words of Foghorn Leghorn, "I say, that's a joke, son. Boys as sharp
as a bowling ball."

Go Blazers !

He's probably right. It is ashame that we'll never know in terms of
actually seeing it. Many of us wanted to see this with Vince Carter &
Jordan but Carter was injured a lot during the Wizards years and so we
never saw a REAL matchup between the two. (Besides, Jordan was 39 & 40
anyway.)

But yeah, as good as these two have been, I could totally see him
waxing the boards with both of them. It is totally normal as someone
in Jordan's place to wonder about such things whether it's true or
not.

Matchups we never saw whom we'd love to have seen

* Shaquille O'Neal vs Wilt Chamberlain
* Michael Jordan vs Oscar Robertson
* Jason Kidd vs Bob Cousy (or Magic Johnson)

(or, from that matter, Magic Johnson vs Bob Cousy)

* Julius Erving vs Vince Carter
* Allen Iverson vs Isiah Thomas
* Kevin Garnett vs Bob McAdoo

Just my 1c worth.

Not NBA, but my choice would be Ali vs. Tyson when they were both in their
prime.

Go Blazers !
