I have this weird paranoia about guys that used to play for the Braves, end
up with the Cubs, and **** (or are mediocre). Blauser, McGriff, Mulholland,
aren't there some more? I know Remlinger is having an OK year, but isn't it
a little disappointing? Anyway, I think the third baseman is a good
pick-up, but I just have visions of this group in September saying things
like "FIRE BAKER NOW! WHY IS LOFTON LEADING OFF?!? WTF???"

Well, I hope I am wrong. Back to lurking.

I'm pretty sure Mulholland played for the Braves *after* he had already
played for the Cubs. And McGriff was far from ****y or mediocre for the
stretch run of 2001, it's just that the team around him collapsed.

He was traded to the Braves *from* the Cubs in 1999, for, among others,
Micah Bowie and Ruben Quevedo.
