Default Great Trade

Looks like Hendry has made another great trade giving up the useless Jose
Hernandez for a 25 year old 3rd baseman in Aramis Ramirez & Kenny Lofton

heres what stats inc says about Aramis

Aramis Ramirez enjoyed a breakthrough season in 2001, when he hit .300 with
34 homers and 112 RBI. But he followed up with a miserable 2002. He was
hitting .348 on April 17 when he charged the mound after being hit by a
pitch from Milwaukee's Ben Sheets. During the ensuing benches-clearing
brawl, Ramirez suffered a sprained right ankle at the bottom of the pile.
Though he never went on the disabled list, he wasn't totally healthy again
until September.

Hitting
Ramirez's ankle injury greatly affected his ability to hit for power last
season. He was forced to stand more erect at the plate to take pressure off
the ankle. That caused him to lose the leverage in his swing. Ramirez is at
his best when he can extend his arms, showing power to all parts of the
park. However, pitchers jammed him more last season and he didn't adjust
until later in the year. Though the numbers didn't bear it out in 2002,
Ramirez enjoys hitting in the clutch and has a knack for coming through in
RBI situations.

sounds good to me

doesn't he have a lot of errors?

23 errors He's a below average 3rd ba***** talk here in Pittsburgh was
to switch him to first which would fit him better. He has issues he
played most of his career overweight up until this year and he has shown
lack of effort and mental lapses on many ocasions but all said he does
have the tools to be a great player and maybe a change will put a little
fire under his ass. Plus you got him for nothing.....

Well, if he's going to switch positions he'd better start hitting now,
because he hasn't hit enough to be an OF or 1B.
