Default Ravens Game..watch at PBS?

Hey ya'll..

I know sometimes I like to post to provoke emotional comments. It's always
been just about the fun, not trying to be personal. Well, I was hoping to
make up for some of my past err'd ways.

Next Sunday, for the Ravens game, I was thinking we have a Bengals Newsgroup
Fan Club meeting (that's a mouthful) down at the East Club Lounge. Entry and
parking is free, the food/beer pricing isn't all bad, they give away a few
door prizes and we could all finally meet and bury some of the old bad
memories!

Shoot me an email to davenospam@datagurus.net (remove the nospam obviously)
if you think you'll be there. The doors open at 1230, and if I know
approximately how many are coming, I'll hold us a table.

I was thinking of a tshirt design of a Bengal tiger wearing a helmet,
sitting at a computer. Anyone an artist or have an idea of a logo for a
little fan club tshirt or something to have made? Maybe we could make this
an away game thing of meeting down there. I dunno..anywho..post here or
email me. I'll be there at 1230 regardless.

Dave

How does that work (watching at the game)? Is it easy to get to? Crowded?
Have you been yet?

It's pretty cool. I have been once. They have TV's all over the place, big
projection on the wall of the Bengals, and you can watch the other NFL games
too. Easy to get into, but lately with all the winning and bandwagon
jumpers, it gets crowded more and more. Thus, I made the comment that if I
knew some were coming, I'd hold some seats.

Who's in?

Unless your name is Monzel, I never heard of that happening (and doubt that
it did). In any regards, I highly doubt the possibilities of being kidnapped
from the PBS garage, up the elevator to the East Lounge. That garage is
normally players/staff only, so it is guarded fairly well.

Do what you have to do. But if either causing a panic about downtown or (if
it did happen) allowing them to scare you off is what you're made of, good
luck. If it were me, I'd be back the next day to prove I'm not scared or
intimidated. I guess you are.

Happened in Feb of last year, was all over the news.Happened at a parking
garage on vine and 7th.
Would be different situation if I wasnt a single father who doesnt have
anyone to look after my son if anything happened, and then you throw in
the fact of the threats........well,lets just say I dont avoid
downtown, just dont make a big deal of going that often. And why would you
"doubt this happened"
who would lie about it??Would you like to go to the trial and see for
yourself??

"if it did happen" the Case Number would be
B 0301259 in front of Judge Melba Marsh.

And saying what you would do............be back the next day ( I did
actually)
well lets just say,YOU probaly would have lost your cool during the
ordeal, crapped your pants, and probaly wouldnt have walked out of it in
the first place.

Well Mr Smarty ass..first of all, it has a case # so yea ok, I'll give that
it happened. Second, don't presume to know anything about me and what I
would have done. I spent 8 years in the Army, the last 6 with the 2/75th
Regt (Ranger) , spent a tour in Panama, Desert Storm I, Sinai Egypt and a
few other places I wouldn't be able to say. I don't run from anyone,
anywhere. Second, you took this way to hard. It is the internet, and folks
lie like a mother ****er daily. So, sometimes stories seem a bit far
fetched. Lastly, as I posted a minute ago, almost 2 years since it happened,
and you posted in a newsgroup a comment that would scare others into not
coming downtown. I was mainly responding to that particular approach more
than anything. 7th and Vine is a long way from Elm and 2nd. The Pkg garage
there is a tad more secure (since it's private parking) and the elevator
takes you right to the level you'd be going.

I'd take my daughter down there any day without fear of anything happening
to her.

As for all the whiny "what would I do with my son if I something happened to
me". That may be a valid point, but you don't think that it's a bit
dramatic, given we're talking about going to watch a football game on a TV?
C'mon dude lighten up. At the least, I hope the case goes well. But a 2 year
old criminal case..hmmm..ya just never know

I did do some research. What you must have meant to say that it was last Feb
(meaning this year, not 2 years ago) but you said "Feb of last year" so it
looked like a 2 year old case. So..it is less than a year old case. In any
regards, get over it. Get counseling or something.
