Oh please, that is absurd. Tim Couch could not have won this game. Indy put
forth too good an effort on D. Their fire would have undone Couch. Then again,
if you want to play all these if games, who's to say that if cir***stances had
placed Tim Couch in this game that they might not also have had Indy playing
its traditionally soft D? I still say the best guy played today and gave us the
best effort we were going to get with what showed up on the field against him.

Well, this is just one game and you gotta give Kelly some
more time. He was 19-28 for 175 yards with two picks (67.9%
and 9.2 yards a catch). Not bad...he didn't get sacked today.


It is what most of the Browns' fans wanted so (certainly)
they'll give things a little time. Sort of like starting
over again on offense in a sense. I think it will be easier
to make judgments after a few more games. The QB usually
gets a lot more criticism than he deserves after a loss,
anyway.

Defense held the Colts to less than 275 yards (274) and
just 57 on the ground.

It 'was' a tough loss, though. Got to hope things will work
out better versus the Ravens...

Not many things would be as nice as seeing the Browns win the
Super Bowl just one time...sure would have loved to see Tim
take them, but the die has been cast. That's life...

Time for Tim to play south of Ohio. Until then, he must be
PATIENT...that's the ticket.

today's 'toe-stub' can't get in the way. He's gotta 'see
