Holcomb won the game for you guys! All you whiners (unless you're
trolls) should be ashamed.

If you are fans... shame on you.

If the Browns had 1/2 a running game, it might not just be Holcombs
responsibility to win all by himself.

Green had 44 yards on 15 carries. Wow. Awesome :-(
Thanks for all the help.

Holcomb outpassed Garcia on a bad leg. Man... he ****s!

The most popular guy on any team is QB #2, but you "fans" that rag on
Holcomb are s***.

Give your respect to a man who gave everything today and went into SF
and got you a W.

Andre Davis gets the credit. The 1st TD pass was a simple screen and was
thrown poorly behind him. The second pass was as high as the crossbar and
into quintuple coverage. Holcomb passed for a might 222 yds. WOW!

Knuckle, the most important thing is, Holcomb found what the defense would
give and took it. That's what we saw him do last season, and didn't see him
do in the first two games. I don't think anybody can question his
toughness. It wouldn't surprise me if he has a serious ankle injury.

As far as the defense goes, we have not allowed a TD in 2 of the 3 games,
and not allowed a "Red Zone" TD in any of them.

My opinion of Arians has not changed, he's an idiot.

Bah. With that o-line, he's lucky to breathe let alone win a game. Hate him
or not, Knuckle, gotta give him credit for the drive, bro.

and the pass to kj down to the 10 yard line in the final drive was
brilliant.

He also almost lost it on the interception.

It's about time he got a W.

Arians is an idiot...agreed. My point is Holcomb barely did his job. In
fact, he didn't do his job the gross majority of the game. Let's be happy
we won. Let's give Holcomb credit. But geez, as Michael Irvin and TJ were
laughing about...how the heck do you blitz and NOT be in bump and run
coverage?!? Why give a cushion? LOL! A real good friend of mine is a big
49er fan and he's says they are absolutely grilling Erickson over this!

The bottom line is Holcomb was lucky his piss poor play didn't bury him, he
was lucky the 49ers couldn't figure how to run on us, he was lucky that the
49ers chose to give yardage underneath by playing a form of "prevent"...and
most of all, lucky that Andre Davis saved his ass - twice. Better to be
lucky than good. <--- This sums it up.

Gameballs go to:
1) The entire Browns D / Dennis Erickson's ineptitude...without the 4th
quarter comeback could not have been possible
2) Andre Davis...albeit two significant mistakes
3) Holcomb...taking what was being given - underneath; and for toughness

I still can't figure why the 49ers hired Erickson. He screwed up with the
Hurricanes, and earlier with the Seahawks. Did Bill Walsh influence that
decision? Or was it purely the husband of Eddie DeBartolo's sister who did that?

I agree. That airball that was picked off reminded me of the one he had
picked off in the preseason game against Green Bay. And what the heck was
that where 1) Holcomb tried to throw the ball away backwards, instead of
taking the sack (and was damn lucky it wasn't picked off), and 2) Holcomb
lost the ball as he was moving the ball back, ****ing his arm for the throw
(he did the exact same thing in one of the first two games)?

Trivosonno said this today, and I'm beginning to believe it: that the
Browns QB of the future isn't on this team.

Just tought of something...since these guys run in cliques...maybe Erickson
will be the coach to replace Butch? THAT IS A SCARY THOUGHT. I'd rather
take my chances with BD than DE any day of the week!

Terrific point. You know - the game was over if that "pass" was called a
fumble. I didn't think you could throw the ball backwards over your
shoulder like that. In my opinion that was THE PLAY OF THE GAME!

I know what is meant by this. But I believe it is misguided. I believe you
don't need a good QB to win it all. Just look at the teams that win it.
You win it by the DL and OL. Then add the LBs and DBs (except SS). Then
add average skilled players. The OL makes holes and gives a QB time to
throw. I'd rather have solid depth at QB than stars. Let's face it...an
average offense that scores 17 to 24 points can win any game with a good
defense because that's all you need. Look at the Superbowl winners: New
England, Tampa Bay, Baltimore, etc.
