GREAT to have ya back!

2 for 4 with a double and the go-ahead RBI!

I'm glad he's back, and he doesn't seem to too daunted in the batter's
box.
Hopefully the Tribe can hang on to this lead, as Millwood has looked
good today and deserves the win.

one would think the pitcher with the 4th best ERA in the A.L would deserve
this win. along with the many others he lost because this team refuses to
score when he pitches!

Why not at least give him a chance to start the 9th, and not LOSE the
game....???
I can't believe Wedge down deep would rather have Wickman cold, for the 3rd
straight night,
over a solid Millwood on 96 pitches....
I like Wedge, but he is as predictable as the sun rising in the East....
Sometimes I wonder if he manages so as to not piss Wickman off.
Wickman pitched every game, this series, and it's not like he's "Lights out"
anyway.
Damn....I hate the Yankees, and to be so close to a sweep.....Damn.

Wedge asked Millwood if he had anything left for the ninth. Millwood
told Wedge he was gassed. Wedge then turned the ball over to his
closer who leads the League in saves.

Wedge gets a pass on this one.

Don't look now, but Wickman has been struggling lately. I know before
tonight he saved some, but he gives indications that his control could be
much better. Even in some of the recent games that he saved, he puts men on
base and makes things very close. Until he gets better command of his
pitches, he will blow some games the starting pitchers deserve to win.
Lately, I don't feel confortable when he comes in. Cleveland should have
won tonight's game.

If you believe the PD he pitches like this on purpose. They ran that article
about a week ago. I don't buy it. I think he's just shaky. I'd love to have
Mesa in his prime. Hell, Mesa ain't doing so bad now :-)
