Just how long have you naysayers been Cleveland fans ? I think this team
could be better than the '95 team, give these kids a break. They have been
on a TEAR since the All Star break, and have caught up to the ChiSox (shrank
a 15 game deficit), so they were due to lose a few. Better to the Rays than
the Sox this weekend. I predict the young Papooses will come through for CC
tonight and take 2 of 3 from the Sox and slide in the Wild Card spot, if
not, it was a great ride. There are plenty of fans who wish their team was
as good as the Tribe. It only gets better from here. C'mon, keep the faith

The rest of us are fine.

The negative posts are from one Travis Hoffman...a known troll, closet
Yankee fan, Albert Belle apologist and general knob.

The rest of you feel the same way; you're just too embarrassed to admit I
was right. You were ****ered in by God after I repeatedly told you not to
fall for his ploy.

And they ARE swinging for the fences. They are homer happy, and that will
be their undoing.

I totally agree with you but it does get frustrating sometimes...I've
been a Cleveland fan since 1969 so I've seen the best and the worst.
It just gets old to pull out the Cleveland ports fan's motto "There's
always next year" year after year after year and the loss in 11
innings in 97 to the Marlins was a heartbreaker (May you rot in hell,
Jose Mesa).
Yeah, maybe they were due for a loss or two, but when you get down to
this number of games, you HAVE to do everything in your power to win
EVERY single game left, especially when the division and wild card are
within your grasp. You can't lose against Kansas City or Tampa.
I don't know...did they choke all of a sudden? Was the pressure too
much for this young team? Or, did it suddenly go to their head and
that's why everyone started going for home runs? You certainly can't
blame their pitchers because for the most part, they did an excellent
job.

I agree with your comment comparing this team to the 95 team.

It sure would have been nice to have seen the Tribe with a chance to have
won the division at the Jake this weekend.
