Border - fantasic strength of will, determination, leadership by
example.
Flemming - does wonders with the talent at his disposal. Very
tactical, well thought out attack plans on oposition batsmen.
Waugh - Despite never having had an understrength side to captain,
he's a remarkable thinking and adaptable captain.
Imran Khan - I'm starting to repeat the reasons why these blokes are
great captains.

How about a list of crap captains.
I'll start it.
Ponting - despite his results record, he's really just the badge on a
fantastic group of talent at a time when the rest of the world is
struggling to compete. He didn't even thank India or any of the other
teams for their participation in the World Cup during his victory
rave.
Lara - Does very little to make things happen when fielding and things
are not going their way
Hussain - ditto. Also doesn't value his own wicket enough.
