1st Half Thoughts/Impressions
True, but interceptions and sacks are often opposite sides of the same
coin. Case in point: the pass under pressure to the flat on Monday night
that *should* have been an INT, but was dropped. I'd rather see him think
for an extra fraction of a second and take a sack rather than hand the ball
over. And handing the ball over in that instance may well have been 6 the
other way.
Adam's point in another thread of this offense being able to recover from a
penalty (or a sack in this case) is starting to sink in for me as well, on
early downs at least. Third-and-long and I'm thinking possible desperation
INT. I really hope that Jake learns how to accept 4th downs as a natural
part of the game, and doesn't make every drive a two minute drill.
