More magazine folderol.
In this week's TSN NFL preview, 2 of their contributors picked the
Broncs to win the division. None picked them as a wild card team.
Razor Magazine (?), in their NFL preview, have the Broncs finishing last
in the division.
I'm not sure I've ever seen a preseason where there was such a wide
range of opinions from supposedly neutral forecasters as to the performance
of a pro football team. Usually, other than homers, the national opinion is
pretty close all over. But Denver is picked first by some, last by others.
Even on ESPN--Bob Golic thinks Jake will be a bust. Sean Salisbury thinks
he'll have a great season.
Seems to me this adds up to this: NOBODY really has a handle on how
good (or bad) the Broncos will be this year. Except the folks in this NG,
of course. Uh, what was the overwhelming majority opinion here? I missed
it.
