The BOOT is coming

Glad to see the Wings called up former Toledo Storm alum and Grand
Rapids alum Darryl Bootland. As a season ticket holder to the Storm
glad to see one of the Storm's most popular up in the bigs. He might
make a good complement to the Grind Line, though probably will only
see some spot action on PP and PK lines. But at least he's up there.

Nashville game. There were 10 fights the last time they played.

And hey, wasn't Bootland an Avs pick?

Maybe Walkindude would care to explain how the very deep prospect pool
of the Wings only has a former avs scrub like Bootland to offer as a callup?

If only we'd dealt for Nedorost, he could be our callup scrub instead
of Bootland.

Not much of an explanation there Walk.

I know that there are some who watch wings prospects who are very impressed
with Bootland's improvements.

Actually, I thought it was splendid, easily ranking among my top ten
posts of the day.
