Great first game I must say.

Both teams looked tough on defense though it looks to me like for whatever
reason the Lakers were unable to cover after about the 2nd or 3rd pass in
endless 2nd half posessions.

Detroit might actually be for real.

Even with only one day in between though I kinda expect that Lakers to come
out and spank Detroit in game two.

Most likely right, but they got what they needed in LA already since they go
home for 3.
And they bounced back from blowouts in the last two series.

Probably right. Besides I had actually watched most of game one of
something called the Stanley Cup..I think it is a hocki thing. Hocki ****s.
I can't rightly go a year having watched more of the NHL championship then
the NBA finals. That just wouldn't be right.

Well you were right, they only called 4 fouls on Shaq....that was one more

Considering that in any game you can easily spot about 20 times that he
should be called...big deal 4 fouls....

Tape the next game and discuss them with me. And the fouls on his defenders
too. If you forget the anti-laker bias and look at it from the other side
most refs let defenders be illegal too.
The guy is hard to officiate, but under how they call the rules in the NBA
not all that many are missed.

by the end of the game things equaled out.
