Default Rasheed puts an asterisk next to Nets win

http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/basketball/nets/story/191938p-165926c.html

"They won, but I am putting an asterisk by this win," Rasheed Wallace said,
soaking his left foot in ice water. "I'm not gonna say for what reason
because I don't want to get fined. That's all I'm saying."

No doubt, he wasn't happy at all with the whistles. In the opening two
minutes of the game, he picked up two fouls and headed to the bench without
making a peep.

"These guys don't like him," Larry Brown said about the refs. "You can say
anything you want, but this kid never gets to play. It's a shame. We're not
the same team without Rasheed and they're not the same team without Kenyon."

yup. That sure explains Billups 2 pts and Prince 4 pts. Also,
Martin was on the bench in foul trouble LONGER than Sheed.

These Pistons sure have their whiney tendencies. I guess it
starts with their head coach.

Quit confusing them with the facts.

Dee-trit wins and the officiating is fine
Dee-trit loses and you'll hear them whine

Okay, I was one hot streak in the fourth quarter off on my prediction, but
the Pissed-ons didn't fail me yesterday. All time playoff low in points. As
I've said all along, if the NETS play NETS style defense, Dee-trit won't be
able to score.

And you think the Pistons are the only team to whine? This isn't anything
new for *any* team.

Your opinions are easier to stomach when your humbled.

And there are a few of us Pistons fans that predicted the NOTS to win at
least *one* game.

As are the Pistons and their coaches.

Is this your way of saying that the NETS won't win any more games in this
series? Is that your prediction?

Not from 'Sheed's veiwpoint...he has argued calls anytime. Argues wether a T
might stupidly cost the game or have no possibe affect.
He once got tossed from the bench for barking at a ref over a call on a
teammate.... when the blazers were up 38 points in the 4th.....his reputaion
is such he also gets reputation calls, he once got a T for yell to his team
to 'play hard' as he went to the bench.....but he trained the refs so he
earned those calls too. He has cut down cussing at the refs lowering the
numbers.

Wallace: "They already know what I'm going to say.
It's already etched in their reporters' manual."
Cheeks: "What? 'Just ballin?' "
Wallace: "No . . . Good game. Both teams played hard."

This is what I mean by Brown's tribal tendencies keeping him from winning
The Big One. Refs that call fouls on his "kids" are his mortal enemies.
Refs don't like that.
