Paulina "Spears" Gretzky

Damn. That kid got talent.

She won't make it in the Music Biz without showing her belly button....She
sang quite well for an easier mid range song...It's more of a confidence
builder I'd say...She sang in front of 58,000 people and didn't look nervous
at all.

She was lip syncing. Wasn't that pretty obvious?

Yeah .. I thought it sounded too good to be live.

Only to anybody that has eyes and ears apparently- without a doubt. Maybe if
these singers would actually keep the mic to the mouth it would be harder to
tell. She kept moving the mic away at the end of a note and was sometimes
too late raising it up again. It was an obvious studio recording all round.

she pulled a shania, I don't agree with it, but she does have a wonderful
voice, great to see wayne and janet watching their daughter on stage

True, but she did a helluva lot better than the bozo who sang the
Canadian anthem at the Grey Cup (Mr. Canadian Idol....that's 15 mins,
bye bye now).....and the horrid Shania at last year's cup.

Not too bad for a 14 year old kid!
