Trade Salo(for whoever), Get Cujo

It has been said that Detroit would be willing to pay half, if not more
of Cujo's salary to move him. So kevin could trade Salo for whatever he
could get, send some of the "talent" here down to TO to balance whatever
wages come in with the Salo trade.
Work a deal with Detroit to take Cujo for 3.5 mil/year.

I've thought about that too...Comrie for Cujo and cash? Then trade Salo
for a bag of pucks...sorry, I meant trade Salo AND a bag of pucks.
Basically right now I doubt anyone would touch Tommy in his fragile state.
At his current rate we'd have to throw something else in.
But it would never happen. We would come out ahead this year, but next year
when Cujo leaves as an unrestricted FA AGAIN, we then have nothing to show
for Comrie.

Would Cujo want to come back?

Cujo, having left a working class town like Edmonton for the money could not
realistically get a 2nd chance here. The boo birds perhaps rightfully would
get on him and never cease after the 1st bad goal. Like I said many times
since, Cujo should never have left in the 1st place. I see Atlanta is
shopping Dafoe- I realy don't know much about him, any thoughts?

He's the same as Salo. He has the potential to take his team places, but
for whatever reasons he just can't do it. And he has been plagued with
so many injuries the past couple of years I don't know if he'll ever
regain his form of a couple of seasons ago.

take Salo and his $3.whatever salary?

Unfortunately Salo isn't the only problem. And trading him won't help shit
if the team plays that bad infront of Conklin or Roy or Hassik or Fuhr in
his prime or whoever. Sure Salo lets in some brutal goals at the worst of
time but he didn't lose that Calgary game for us. We just stunk as a team
PERIOD.
