Reported in the Edmonton Journal Today(Sept 15,03)

"Martin Havlat, another of the leagues's young forwards unable to
hammer out a new deal, is playing with Sparta Prague. If he doesn't
sign with the Ottawa Senators before the regular season begins and he
continues playing with the Czech team, he would have to be waived
through the league before returning to the NHL club."

I can't see Ottawa letting that happen.
