I've seen old Soviet-era Russian teams dominate tournaments, and Canada
always sends a competitive team, but I have never seen a team sooo
dominate a tournament like this year.

I was sad to see the U.S. lose on a weak OT goal in front of home crowd
in Bronze medal game though.

Almost none of these players will be back , let's enjoy it, one for the
history books for sure.

Best per game goal differential in tournament history. It was also the most
lopsided gold medal game since the tournament switched to a playoff format in 1996.


You can add to the fact they never once trailed in the tournament. Of 360
minutes they played over 6 games, the were tied for about 54 minutes total
and let for the other 306.
