Pacers didn't land in the top 3 in the draft lottery last night (5/19)
but the do have the 13th pick. Last year they also had the 13th pick
and managed to get Brandon Rush who had a superb rookie season and
looks like he'll be a superstar player in the league for a long time.

Larry Bird has said that point guard and power forward are two
positions the Pacers may address in the draft. Too bad the draft is
so weak this season. Possible selections could be Syracuse's Jonny
Flynn, Virginia Commonwealth's Eric Maynor and North Carolina's Ty
Lawson at point guard that could be available at No. 13. Also, Wake
Forest's James Johnson and Pittsburgh's DeJuan Blair are possible
power forwards the Pacers could choose.

I like Ty Lawson but DeJuan Blair is a possibility. He reminds me
somewhat of Detroit's Jason Maxiell and has nearly the same skills.

It will be interesting to see who they draft and, even more
importantly, will they be able to resign Jarret Jack.
