It is time to take some drastic action to reshape the steaming pile
once known as the Royals pitching staff. Immediately place Darrell
May and Kevin Appier on waivers for the purpose of granting them their
unconditional release. Send Affeldt to the bullpen, to be the closer.
Bring up McDougal, Brad Voyles, Chris George and Zach Grienke. The
rotation will be Gobble, Grienke, Voyles, Mc Dougal and George. The
rest of the guys on the staff would be middle relief, and set up men.

This season is quickly starting to circle the drain. It is time to
panic...Carlos Beltran is not going to be here next year. The Royals
must win now.
