Notice the 'might'.

He may be going there, but it's not definite, and given the generally
accuracy of the New York Post, it could easily be wrong. That being
said, it looks more like the Red Sox will be trading Nomar, and that
has to interest the Dodgers.

Actually the NY media has been right about 95% this off- season. Where they
tend to make stuff up is at the trading deadline. Trust me, Kaz is gone.
Big Joe on ESPN radio is reporting that McCourt is in trouble money wise, so
don't look for Nomar to come to L.A. I predict he ends up with the Angels
via Texas who get him from Boston . I don't think Manny goes anywhere as
even if Boston pays some of his salary, it still does very little for the
Rangers in terms of financial mobility. With a 3-way, they can load up on
both teams scrub pitchers, say they kept true to their credo about only
trading A-Rod for pitching and come out way ahead in payroll. Expect Texas
to get ****d in this deal.
