The New League Jerseys

Well, if you have not heard yet, the league is changing the jersey material
with all teams. Aparently the new material will not take on water and will
be 20 something percent lighter.

Also, I heard them claim that all the designs were being changed on all
teams.

I looked at some of the team changes and I think the changes look ridiculous
from the last jersey design.

So what gives? Does the NHL have full control over the jerseys? Who was
allowed to pick the designs? Why are some of the designs so ridiculous
looking?

Look at the Dallas Stars new design compared to their last design...

They have kind of an "old-school" look and cut to 'em. I like it.

The jerseys look bad enough...it's the *** looking socks I hate. Who the
hell puts vertical stripes on a hockey sock and yes even some jerseys. Some
*** fashion designer made the "new" look. Whats next all new logos.....

knows?!
