Exactely....I wonder what kind of *ahem* education he got in
college....Do you think he would get a signing bonus in the real
world? Think he would make anywhere near this kind of money working a
9-5 job? And since when do you get paid for potential as opposed to

IMHO, the Fins have made some very smart moves this offseason and this
is just another example. Anyone have doubts that if they did not
re-sign Gads, Tolver would have been making more noise and possibly
still be holding out? I don't.

Four-year contracts are great for the team's cap and any one of these
young men who whine about being mistreated should check out the
employment ads in Sun--Sentinel for salaries offered to those with no
experience in whatever they have a degree in. Any kid out of college
who gets $400 - $600K in signing bonus money without playing a
friggin' down in the NFL should feel like they won life's lottery.

Tolver may believe he's been victimized but he should consult with OG
before making a final decision about that. Maybe stop by and chat
with Brock Marion whilst he's at it.
