Thursday, Wade was asked whose team this was.

"Hands down, hands down Shaq's team," Wade said. "It's his team. He's the
Big Fella. He's the guy the offense is going to run through. He's the guy
that we want our offense to run through, and we'll take it from there."

Wade is the guy who should get easier offense. So was it hard to imagine
anyone complaining about teaming with O'Neal?

"It all depends on the person and the player," Wade said. "Unfortunately,
Shaq has been with two unbelievable players, Penny Hardaway when he was in
Orlando and Kobe Bryant, that felt like they had more to give and they
wanted to show more. But players are different. That's not my mind state. My
mind state is getting the W first. And I know that with the wins and with
the championships come everything you want."

Could this possibly be the stupidest question yet in this whole trade media
blitz?

Something tells me Shaq will be happy in Miami.

kobe this is why you go to college to learn about the game and life.
Wade may not be the player kobe is but I willing to bet he is a much
better TEAMmate than kobe. You can learn the team game in college. There
is not I in team but kobe & shaq have found the M and the E and put that
together. I thank KOBE for now the east still has 3 legit teams who can
put a scare into the teams out west. The lakers garbage is now miami's gold.

Exactly what Phil Jackson said in an interview couple years back (or last
year, I dont remember) - he said something like "going to college and having
been through that part, helps people become more mature as basketball
players when they become pro" - I was wondering how he could say this with
Kobe on the team, but after an year, we have the answers.

Y'know, journalists who ask that question
are just looking to stir shit. It's become
one of the most incendiary questions you
can pose in the NBA. I think Wade's answer was
fine in the Heat's current situation, but players
should develop stock answers that de-fuse the question
then and there.

Seems like just some sort of exercise... like the reporters just wanted
to hear him say it. Truly stupid question.

Yeah, because he's with an organization that's not about one guy, it's
about (Shaq's) team.
