So Shaq is so mature because he went to college compared to lets say KG?

You need to ask Phil about that. My personal belief is yes, Shaq is much
more mature than Kobe is. (both on and off the court). Atleast Shaq didn't
appear on TV crying "I am innocent.. all I did was adultery"

No, not really. It's been obvious to Laker fans for years that as Shaq's
injuries and age were increasing, while Kobe was improving every year,
that sometime this decade, the Lakers would cease being "Shaq's team"
and would move in a direction where Kobe became the #1 offensive option
and he would become the leader of the team.

I didn't expect it to happen this dramatically and in such a fashion,
but overall, I think the Lakers made the best they could out of a
problematic situation.

Kobe may have said the exact same things, but not once has he displayed
it on the court. Not only does Dwyane say things like that, but not once
have I not seen him back it up.

Funny. No one every talks about the guy who is always leading 2
guards in assists year after year. And a point guard should be
averaging more than 4.5 assists per game.
