I was wondering, any of you have any nicknames for Habs players? Like they
called Maurice Richard "Rocket" and Jean Beliveau "Le Gros Bill" and Andre
Racicot "Red Light" and you know, names like that....They called Russ
Courtnall "Le Chevreuil"....'cause of the way he skated I guess.

Now come up with some original. Anything for Brisebois that starts with
"Breez" is NOT original.

Here are some of my personal creations...

Michael "Thunder" Ryder: I've seen a guy use it on some gaming site's sports
board after I first used it in here, so either it caught on or it's a good
nickname. I just think it has a nice ring to it and it fits him. He may not
skate as fast as lightning, but he sure as hell moves the puck that fast....

"El Guapo" Mike Ribeiro: "El Guapo" is Spanish for "The Handsome". Ribeiro
being latino and having hands as soft as a virgin's butt, and being kind of
handsome on the ice, I think it fits.

And now, some mean, mean propositions...

Karl "Last-Call" Dykhuis: I'm not referring to an alcohol problem, but to
the fact that he's probably never coming back to the NHL again.

Gordie "Hit Me" Dwyer: Takes the concept of showing the other cheek too
far...

And finally, some various NHL quickies....

Martin "She's A *******" Brodeur, Bryan "Dr. Knee" Marchment, Kyle "The
Lariat" McLaren, Wade "Caveman" Belak, Owen "Grey Beard" Nolan, Tie "The
Dummy" Domi & final but not least Jaromir "The Sad Single Gambling
Millionaire" Jagr.
