Julio is the 16-0 ****tard. Patriots are going 12-4 and will be SB
champions.

and

and

Weren't you just saying a couple weeks ago how they won't amount to anything
because they didn't replace Antowain with Stephen Davis?

Their QB situation is better in that they've upgraded the backup, but keep
in mind that they still have the same old mediocre at best starter. And
there's not a doubt in my mind that Fiedler is better than Griese. As for
the rest of the team, I'm not impressed. Seau is not a significant upgrade
over Rodgers. The rest of their moves were meaningless and their draft
absolutely ****ed.

I agree. I think one reason their D ****ed so bad last year was not
entirely a personnel issue, but also because they didn't have their shit
together. There's a good chance that that won't be the case this year.
That coupled with the improved personnel moves should make their D a little
better, but I don't expect their O to perform at last year's level either.
But I won't say anymore about that or else I'd be stirring up another 300
post thread with mangla.

If Martin goes down, I expect Jordan to step in and do an ok job. However,
I still think Jordan's been a disappointment for them.

Nope. I did say I prefer Stephen Davis to Antowain Smith; but Faulk will
pick up the slack this coming year. Brady will get to 3,900 yards and 30
TD's; which with our new D will be enough for 12 wins and a dominating post
season run to the SB; which we take from Philly with a 4th quarter final
drive by Brady.

Jordan's numbers his rookie year wear absolutely unbelievable. Sure, he had
limited carries, but his YPC avg was phenomenal. Unfortunately, what that
meant is that no matter how good he was last year or in the next few years,
there is no way he'll ever post numbers with a similar YPC avg. So last year
he was below-average, but compared to the great numbers the year before it
looked especially bad.

We now know he isn't going to rush for 7.5 yards a carry like he did his rookie
year. The question is, is he better than the 3.8 yards he ran for last year.

Julio is not dumb enough to make a prediction before seeing the
team play in preseason.

However,

had

years,

year

rookie

year.

If I'm not mistaken, his role last year was significantly different from his
rookie year. Instead of serving in the clean up crew and in similar "easy"
situations, he was used as a starter in some instances and as an every down
back during certain parts of the game. He no longer had the YPC cushion
that most situational backs have. In the games I watched him in last year,
he looked slow and average.

Did Julio see the pre-season before saying 16-0 last year? BTW, speaking
in the 3rd party is eerie - try and fix that.
