Default Little known facts

Has anybody else considered the following:

1. Iraq never surrendered.

2. Saddam Hussein was not afraid of armed rebellion and allowed Iraqi
citizens to own weapons, unlike the Iraqis' US occupiers.

3. Most, if not all of the bio/chem WMD went past their shelf life
date in the mid nineties and were not replaced.

4. Many weapons experts don't classify bio/chem as WMD (they are
called "denial of entry" weapons.)

5. Many Iraqis do not want us there and they will be put down using
the same techniques Saddam used.

6. It's impossible to force somebody to be free because the force
implies lack of choice and subjugated will to the victor.

7. There have been no open elections in Iraq even at the city/town
level, and there are no plans for them.

8. Looting, ****, murder and drug dealing are rampant where it did not
exist before.

9. POWs have not been released yet even though Bush declared the war
over.

10. Iraqis have the absolute right to kill foreign troops, as surely
as we would.

11. The coalition is losing at least one dead solier per day since the
alleged end of the war.

12. British military strategists will not support having British
troops in Iraq past the fall of '03.

13. The British and American military are accusing eachother of
brutality bordering on war crimes.

14. Iraq never attacked us.

15. The only "proof" that Iraq was going to attack us is heavily
tainted with blatantly false data.

A proven fact is that your post has nothing to do with the NE Patriots. Go
post somewhere else.

Yes, please use "OT:" to start the subject line.

Regards,
Chris

P.S. Even though I like plenty of OT discussion during the offseason, I
don't blame Mark for being annoyed with all of the OT discussion...some of
it is getting awfully old :-\

It was a good call. So what? Even a blind pig can stumble over a
basket full of acorns once a year.

I think you're thinking of a squirrel. Try to get your facts straight.

Let's see ... Ganymede, Io, Callisto, Europa? what are the rest?

Jupiter has something over 61, yes 61 satellites, not the 12 we learned about
in school. Most of these are irregularly shaped bodies only single digit
kilometers in diameter, not big round thingies like the Gallelian satellites
you named. The only other name I remember is Amalthea one of the innermost
satellites.

http://www.ifa.hawaii.edu/~sheppard/satellites/jup2003.html

Most are yet unnamed. The IAU (International Astronomical Union) is the
authority for naming astronomical bodies.

The IAU Working Group on Planetary System Nomenclature has
approved the following new designations and names:

Jupiter XVII Callirrhoe = S/1999 J 1
Jupiter XVIII Themisto = S/1975 J 1 = S/2000 J 1
Jupiter XIX Megaclite = S/2000 J 8
Jupiter XX Taygete = S/2000 J 9
Jupiter XXI Chaldene = S/2000 J 10
Jupiter XXII Harpalyke = S/2000 J 5
Jupiter XXIII Kalyke = S/2000 J 2
Jupiter XXIV Iocaste = S/2000 J 3
Jupiter XXV Erinome = S/2000 J 4
Jupiter XXVI Isonoe = S/2000 J 6
Jupiter XXVII Praxidike = S/2000 J 7
