I have had it. I can't stand watching goalies make great save after great
save.
I'm with all the "this is Boring" people.
I think they should eliminate the goalie totaly and just have an empty net.
This will generate more scoring.

To show my commitment to this concept, I am going to go into buisiness
selling Jerseys. You can buy any Jersey (Home, Away, Third) any team, with
the number 00 and the words _Empty Net_ on the back E-mail me with questions
about price etc.
Hockey ****s.

;-)

They should also make the nets bigger. Oh how I pine for the glory days of 8-7
games where the goals were so frequent that they lost value! I'm a conservative
hockey fan, I wish the game was more like it was meant to be played in the old
days - the 1980's!
Nevermind that we are talking about just one decade in the 100 years of hockey,
that is the way the game is supposed to be played!

I disagree - I love watching goalies make great saves. Why? Because, aside
from the entertainment value of their display of athleticism, it means
that there are scoring chances being generated.

I can't understand why people have to see a goal, or they're unhappy.
There can be plenty of offense, but no goals - you realize that, eh? If a
goalie is standing on his head, chances are you're watching an exciting
game.

Could it be that Rog missed the point of the post?
