Not much to enjoy other than Marty stopping all kinds of stuff.

Gomer's second goal should have counted.

Man...I only saw ten minutes, but the time I managed to catch, we were
killing them.

Must have been the second.

They started out very sloppy. Chico and Doc said they didn't skate
yesterday. The second was much better and the third was a reversion
to the first period play.

That was a horrible call. But they still should beaten the Hawks easily.
Oh well, when your definition of a slump is two straight without
shutting the opposition out I guess you're doing okay.

Only the Devils can get a ghost goalie interference call. It's a legacy
of ours. For any other club they'd have to drive the Zamboni over him and
then back up for a second smooshing.

normally a goalie interference call results in a penalty. They
screwed up totally.

Rumor has it that Pat Quinn was watching the game on TV and phoned that one in.

The Hawks played an inspired game with Keith Magnusons family in attendance.

That one sequence right before the 1st goal was great stuff and that play by
Stevens to jump in and get the assist was a great play.

The call was bad, but the officials can wave off a goal for incidental
contact with the goalie with no penalty called.
