Default Goats Fassel & Bryant

I don't believe what I witnessed last night. Why on Earth would
Fassel leave 14 seconds on the clock knowing it's a 95% probability
that even Bryant will make the chip shot? This only guarantees that
Dallas will have a chance to return a kickoff, and anything can happen
on a kickoff, which it did! And Bryant - he doesn't even have to
remember any plays! He kicks for a living, that's it! He said the
coach told him to kick it towards the sidelines, but that doesn't
giving it any shot of going out of bounds. Even if the ****head
kicked it down the middle and it was returned back to the 40, the
Cowpies would have had about 2 seconds on the clock left. It just
tells me Bryant is an idiot and should be cut. How can any Giants
teammate look him in the face without wanting to kill him? I guess
this is how Tampa Bay Bucs fans felt after their loss to Carolina due
to ****ed up special teams.

Of course if he runs it to 2-3 seconds and they botch the snap (which as we
all know is a distinct possibility) you'd be crowing that Fassel was an
idiot for not giving himself a few extra seconds IN CASE something
disastrous with the snap or hold had happened. Rookie center, wet field,
blah blah.
The game was lost when Bryant kicked the ball out of bounds.
The game was lost when the secondary couldn't tackle a soul.
The game was lost when they made Quincy Carter look like the McNabb of 2
seasons ago.
The WILLS are supposed to be the strong part of the pass coverage but were
beat all night long by those crossing routes.
Take your pick but let's face it, leaving 11 seconds on the clock is not the
reason they lost the game.

Let's see... You typing in all caps or the fact that a team in that same
position only lost one other time in a half century of football, and that
was thanks to a 63-yard FG, still a record over three decades later... Boy,
your all-caps sure persuaded me. Far more compelling than 50 years of
football...

What are u related to Fassel? Please stop posting to this group with
your nonsensical opinions. Please check with any football coach any

with more than 9 seconds on the clock.

You see, I don't care if the snap was fumbled and the kick was no good
and the giants didn't get another chance. The score was tied. There
was no reason for Fassel to have any doubt about the long snapper in
the game, since every long snap was perfect up to that point. In the
49ers game Junkin was having trouble snapping the whole game, yet
Fassel attempted that one with less than 9 seconds on the clock,
interesting. Each game is different, you coach based on what your
team or personnel are experiencing during the game, not because of
what happened last game or last year. Ask Parcells this. The slant
over the middle was open all day, and he went to it every time he
needed a big play. Does Fassel or his staff adjust there game plan to
take advantage of the other teams weaknesses? NO!

Fassel is not an NFL caliber head coach.

Please go away Brian, you know nothing about Fottball coaching.

Oh geez!! I didn't know that was a requirement to be a member of this
newsgroup. I've never coached a team, so I guess I'd better unsubscribe.

Lois. Those of us who live and die with the Giants know that Brian
knows just as much about football as any of us. And I think I speak
for all of us who post here 365 days a year that he's always welcome
on my team any day. Even when we are all upset about another
heartbreaking Giants loss and who's fault it is............

Look up ad hominem. It's a fancy Latin term for "you lose."
