This zone scheme (especially the zone blitzes, ouch!) doesn't play
well into the Giants secondary strength (except maybe make Omar
Stoudamire look good.) Will Allen and Will Peterson are shut down CBs
that can match up with anybody in the league (I think.) However, they
looked dazzed and confused in the zone.

Also the way he uses Shuan Williams... it's like he's more of a LB
than a SS. Shuan Williams should be kept back more in the backfield
to help out, and then dish out punishing hits on would-be receivers.
Yes he can rush the passer, or help the LBs, I realize he has that
skills. But it seems that Lynn simply blitz too much with secondary
people thinking that the zone will cover the holes, well, it hasn't.

Check last season. I think Lynn had a bad rep because the Giants were
losing. Go look at the pass defense, the Giants averaged LESS THAN
200 YARDS PER GAME in the first 5-6 games or so in the season when he
play mostly man-to-man schemes with little blitzes.
