Well welcome back to the Jets of 2 years ago and the first 3 games
last year. Where we run three times in a row. Never attempt a pass
where the reciever is over the 3rd down marker. Where we play for
field goals instead of touchdowns. Where we waste time when we don't
have the lead. Where we never get to the 2 minute warning with all 3
timeouts.

And all the blame just does not go to Hackett. Hey Herm can you
understand that timeouts are for the end of each half, not to ice the
kicker in the first quarter. Can you call an occasional blitz. Can
Vinny attempt a pass for more than ten yards. Can you overrule your
horrible coordinator when he calls for a screen pass to Moss, after
you just recovered a fumble, all the momentmum is on your side, and
now you play to tie the game up.

Hackett was saved last year by Pennington who fits the mold of the
West Coast offense, but even with Pennington a lot of the conservative
calling continued, until about the last 4 games last year, so I
thought we turned over a new leaf, but apparently they did not.

Watching the play calls tonight, you have to wonder, is Hackett
intelligent, you just simply don't run three straight times on your
own 30 at the end of the game.

Why is any reciever running a route before the First down marker on
third down, and not just the fourth option, Chrebet is the man coming
up short every time.

Jet fans the season is over, don't believe the spin the coaches tried
to put on Vinny, he was finished last year and he is finished now,
especially when we have a jack ass coaching staff that does not know
how to play the strengths of the quarterback

AND HERE IS THE KEY, A COACHING STAFF THAT DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO REACT
TO IN GAME SITUATIONS, THEY SIMPLY RUN THE SAME GAME PLAN REGARDLESS
OF SCORE OR TIME LEFT, NO CONCEPT OF WHEN TO USE TIMEOUTS, REALLY IS
BAFFLING

BOY DO I MISS PARCELLS, HE WAS THE MASTER OF ADJUSTING TO THE GAME
SITUATION, IF THE RUNNING GAME WAS NOT WORKING HE WOULD PASS TWENTY
TIMES IN A ROW

can someone tell me if the running game was working last night, it
surely was not, so why are we continuing to run every first down, and
sometimes 3 times in a row

Can you explain to us how the difference between and 6 yard pass and a
4 yard pass or a nine yard pass and an eight yard pass is about
confidence in Vinnie. I know I don't see it.

Sorry buddy, but you don't know what you are talking about, this
coaching staff started calling this crap three years ago, and even
when Pennington came in last year they were still conservative up
until the last 3 or 4 weeks of the year

Vinny has always had a lack of mobility, however his arm strength is
still there, that is the whole point guy, they have to change the
offense to fit his strengths and one of them is throwing long

the other thing they need to do is to react to game situations, like
when u can't run the ball then give it up, Hackett is clueless, and he
always was, whether losing in USC or the Chiefs choking every year in
the playoffs, and Herm Edwards still does not know how to manage a
clock or call timeouts correctly

and finally your point also does not make sense because they are not
even letting Vinny throw past the 1st down marker, how many screens
for a loss are we going to see for the coaches to say, u know what no
more screens for the game

if u can't see that then u don't know football
