ESPN and ABC Management
You mean the Way Things Outta Be...a morphined Rush on race hitting up
the maid for hillbilly heroin. And that's one huuuuuuuuge glass house
he lives in. I mean huge...Biltmore Estate huge. A tart El Rushbo
today retorts to the accusations of pillpopping growling "What part of
No Comment don't you understand?" Imagine that. El Rushbo having to
respond to *accusations*. El Rushbo *with nothing to say*. Kinda like
George without Gracie. Nixon without Checkers. John without Yoko.
Hey, maybe California's future Governor Grope can lend a hand and help
get Rush back on his feet. Or perhaps Bill Bennett and his book of
virtues can wisk El Rushbo to Vegas to get his mind off "things".
Hmmm....so Rush is AWOL on his show today....and Tony Snow's now subbing
for Seah Hannity right now on WABC rallying the troops...as Conservative
Rome crumbles. It's important to try to understand and empathize with
Rush. Oh the pain of fame....this brave soldier of truth whose
pharmaceutical demons have overtaken his angelic soul. I personally
think Clinton somehow had something to do with this....though Snow
apparently has uncovered damning evidence of Howard Dean and Wesley
Clark in CVS lab coats. The Democrats have ruined this man!
Oh, wait, Snow has some point to make about "hypocrisy" and "double
standards". Oh, Snow's talking about that two-faced ESPN....
Ooookay...Now we're talking about Rush's past generosity. Waxing about
the old days and the million of little guys Rush selflessly helped. Oh
wait..now the editors at National Enquirer are summoning their media
venom for the mother of all attacks. "The time to strike is now!"
Poor defenseless Rush.
Calling all Dittoheads! The phones are open! "Rush we love you!" "Rush
we don't care if you are doing drugs." "I hate the venomous people who
are doing this to Rush!" "Conservative and Republicans will rally
around Rush and prove once again in November we rule!"
What a whacky wild ride.
I personally think we need to be nice to Rush - keep him employed - so
we reinstate his tax bracket to help pay that $166 billion down payment
on Iraq occupation and reconstruction...not to mention a prothesis or
two for the 800 American soldiers who have lost limbs fighting his war.
