Four forwards and no guards in the West? The front court has got to be
Shaq, Duncan and Garnett and I can see trying to slip Peja in as a SG,
but I don't agree with Anthony. Probably Kobe, maybe Steve Francis,
somebody to handle the ball (although I will admit that most of the
West guards aren't having career years so far).

East looks about right, but I'd have to go with McGrady over Davis
(although Baron has definitely picked it up a notch this year).

Cassel is the best guard in the league atm. Francis should be nowhere
close to starting the game.

Well, it's the all-star game, so nobody ever said the best
players start.

What's weird is that Vince Carter is probably getting less
press this year than at any time I can imagine. And he's
the leading vote getter. You'd also think that the Yao hype
would have longer legs than just one season. If the numbers
weren't up, I probably would wager that LeBron was fetching
the most votes.

Makes no sense, unless you recognize that most people
voting are probably drunk.
