Did anyone watch "This Week in Baseball"? Jennie Finch was TWIB's roving
reporter at the All-Star Game. It included some playful trash-talking between
Bonds and Finch, and a possible head-to-head matchup.

She approached Bonds about pitching to him ("When do I face the best?") and he
said he'd seen her pitching on TV against other MLBers, and wanted to know why
she wasn't pitching against him.

JF: "I'll have my people call your people and set it ."

BB:"It's on. You can call me direct. I take my challenges direct"

"You can't be pretty and good and not face another handsome guy (points to
himself) and good."

Then they had some back-and-forth on how she'd struck out LaDuca and ***son and
Barry thought he'd hit it into the water. ("You haven't faced my riser." "You
haven't seen my tophand!") It was pretty amusing and playful. Apparently, he
did agree to face her in the future. It will either be ignored or somehow spun
as an example of Bonds terrorizing a woman.

She did the play-by-play for a lot of this year's College World Series
games. Comes off as a bit of an airhead. Also needs someone to teach
her how to be more subtle with the makeup.

Not with the lots of makeup airhead types. They wouldn't have the
slightest interest in me.

It's definitely all Bonds' fault, whatever happened.+
