Default Salmon's Hit

SALMON looked like he was ready for that pitch, as if he knew what was
coming.
Eckstein, who had doubled, got to study Wilson's signals as Franklin threw
four pitches to FIGGINS--the four intentional balls to ANDERSON don't count.
Did Eckstein break the code?

"Breaking the code" is subjective - to some its cheating with a corked bat
and claiming that its used to "put on a show" during batting practice.

From what I read in the last couple years, runner at second base trying to
steal the sign and convey it to the batter at home plate happens almost
always. Thats one of the reasons why the catcher walks up to the pitcher and
talks about switching signs. If our catcher did not do it, its their
mistake. I wouldn't blame Eckstein for something which is so common. I would
give credit to Salmon for coming up with a clutch basehit.
