Default A different # of wins hypothetical

So what happens if the Hawks win the NFC-West with a record of say 8-7-1,
and then win a 1st round playoff game??
How about if they then lose their 1st round game?? Big? Tiny? Late? in OT?
on a questionable call?
3-0 in triple OT on a ball that replay clearly shows bounced OUT rather than
IN?

All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all who wander are lost,
Sweet smells may taste bitter,
Great power comes at great cost.
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost.
All that glitters is not gold,
In the darkness shadows sleep,
Each person has a tale untold,
A secret everyone shall keep.
From the ashes a fire shall be woken,
A light from the shadows shall spring;
Renewed shall be blade that was broken,
The crownless again shall be king.

than

The name of the game is Superbowl victories, baby. That is the only real
measure of success.

And to do that you have to get into the playoffs and win. I don't care what
the regular season record is as long as they're playing in postseason.

If they lose in the first round then there has been absolutely no
improvement whatsoever over Erickson. That's why I want a playoff victory at
a minimum.

I don't know what I'd do if they lost due to another Testaverde-like call.
I'd probably burst into flames.

Hasta,
Curtis

Why don't we let the season play out and then do our "what ifs"?

But then no one could claim to be the
football seer. That would be tragic.

Why have a football discussion group at all?

I'd like to see you advocate firing a coach of
a 12-4 team that lost in the first round in OT to
the Rams.

I think some of my political discussion were rather prophetic also... Too
bad more Americans couldn't see through the BS...

That says a lot. Its not about
the team getting better its just about firing Holmgren.
