Look I'm no rah rah guy for Bush,
but I'm pointing out that accusations of the same nature can be leveled at
his predecessor. Stick to issues that really matter. The rest of this stuff
is just hype, perpetuated by a frenzied media, that acts as a smokescreen
for things that slip by most of us. In the televised battle between
conservative and liberal we as a nation are losing badly because we never
elect people who really have the best interest of the country at heart,
merely the ability to be re-elected.
That being said there are not many
candidates to choose from out there that are worth their weight in salt. I
suspect Bush will win again for lack of anyone else. Then we will have
another term of lobbyist rule, as they have for decades.
