Jerome James fouls out in 12 minutes guarding Cato last night.

Yes, one foul every two minutes is not encouraging. I like to see him
aggressive, but dammit, we need him to stay in the game. Perhaps he's just
not used to being this bouncy and quick?

You would have logically thought that Jerome would have worked on that
part of his game with Jack. Maybe thinking that once you picked up 4
fouls in 8 minutes you would lay off a bit. It makes me wonder if it's
Nate's new take on the position, viewing the "3 headed-$15Million-20ft
long-pile of detritus" as merely 18 fouls to be had.

Crossed toes may be neccessary as well. After all, our starting
"power" forward, Vlad the Inhaler, managed one rebound in 25 minutes.
How long will it take for Evans to get his starting job back. Vlade is
better suited as a sixth man, backing up the 3 and 4.

I know, it's only been one meaningless preseason game .

I don't think that's it, Nate seems to be pretty consistent saying that
Jerome is his 5, if he can stay out of foul trouble. I think Nate would
prefer to have James play 30 minutes at least, so he wouldn't have to
stick Booth/Pot in there for too long.

Hey, unbridled irrational panic after one game is better than apathy. I'm
not going to make any sweeping conclusions about one pre-season game (I'm
going to wait until after tomorrow's game).

fouling out in 12 minutes makes him every bit the superstar that Jimmy
Mac was.

I'd trade Jerome Booth AND Calvin James straight up for Prejrag
Drobnjak. Drobnjak plays more minutes than Booth and James combined!

I have to say that Vitaly Potapenko should now be the starting center.
Jerome Booth and Calgone James both ****.

****! Jim McIllvaine was better than Jerome Booth or Calvin James. At
least Mac could play 18 minutes a game before he fouled out!
