A new major event in the US debuts on August 21st, 2004 in Saint Paul,
Minnesota.

This summer, Minnesota will be the home of two of the larger events in the
US.
The organizers are shooting for 3000 entrants, and have over 600 already.

The course is on the bank of the Mississippi as it runs through downtown
Saint Paul.
The road surface is very good for almost all of the course (depending on the
west turn around point).
How flat it will be also depends on where they put the west turn around
point and where the event ends.
Most of downtown Saint Paul is about 90 feet higher than most of the course.

If you come, stay for a couple extra days to try out some of our many
trails.

If I can find a good route, we will have an interesting Friday Night Skate
