Toe drag stops
I've been skating at our rink all summer, and watching
the inline hockey skaters. Couple of kids are using
ice hockey toe-stops, and doing it pretty well. It is
like a T-stop, but the trailing skate drags the toe wheel
sort of pointed down, and uses that to sort of swizzle
to a stop. Looks pretty effective. I've played with it
off and on, and it gives nice short range control over
speed and direction. Looks good too. Ice hockey
skaters do it a lot. It can be developed on inlines.
