That's one of the rumours running around here, anyway.
The Calgary A-league franchise is for sale, and there are allegedly 4
group of investors interested in buying. The league is operating the
team until the end of the year (they did the same thing for Vancouver
last year).

And I have heard it said you could buy the team for a dollar (canadian)
which is
about 71 cents US, 0.63 Euros, or 40 p. The catch is there are debts of
around $ 1,000,000 and some other problems

Hope someone, not necessarily Russian, comes along and picks up the tab.
A new stadium (5 or 6 K capacity) would be nice too.
