More news regarding Arsenal...

Zidane Expresses Interest in Move to Highbury

Zizou revealed today that he has always wanted to play for Arsenal but
worries about his skills have held him back. In an interview with El Mundo
in Spain he said:
'I would love to play for Arsenal. I would be happy just to get on the bench
and play a few games but I don't think I would make the squad.'
He revealed that he is a lifelong fan of Arsene's Red and White army and has
a poster of Charlie Nicholas on his bedroom wall.
'To be honest,' he gushed, 'To play at Arsenal is a lifelong dream and if
they would let me I'd pay a lot of money to play in, maybe, the first round
of the Worthington Cup. A game where I hopefully wouldn't let the team
down.'

Seaman Reveals move to Manchester City was a Joke

David Seaman today announced that his much publicised move to City was an
elaborate joke cooked up between Kevin Keegan and Arsene Wenger to wind up
Sir Alex Ferguson. The jovial Yorkshireman said:
'Kev and Arsene thought it would be a bit of a laugh to wind up the tabloids
and Taggart. There's no way Arsene would start the new season without a top
draw goalkeeper and both he and I know that I am still the best in the
country.'
'Of course I wouldn't leave Arsenal,' he added, 'That would be like cutting
off my ponytail.'

Dennis Bergkamp Sheds Fear of Flying and Pledges Future to the Gunners

Dennis Bergkamp has been secretly visiting a hypnotist over the last 6
months in a concerted effort to cure his fear of flying. The sessions have
been going so well that he now plans to apply for his pilots licence.
'I have been so dissapointed over the time I have been at Arsenal not to
have been involved in all of our European games.' the gifted Dutchman told
Matt's column exclusively, 'I started meeting Madame Smolaski last year and
my session with her have really helped.'
'Flying holds no fear for me now. I have spoken to the A-Team and suggested
that Mr T might want to try the same treatment. It works wonders.'
He also took the opportunity to pledge his future to the Gunners.
'All this talk from my agent is rubbish. I never said any of it. I have
sacked him and I am happy to continue my career at Highbury under whatever
terms Mr Wenger wants.'

In the Sunday Edition: THOSE pictures of Freddie and an exclusive interview
