Default Ziege out at least 14 days

He's hobbling in crutches again, having overtaken our other sicknote,
Anderton, by a good long distance in the Unhealthy Stakes.

The most optimistic news is that he'll be out 14 days. The least...his
career might be over.

Suddenly having sold Ben Thatcher, our only other leftback option,
doesn't seem a good idea, does it Mr. Hoddle?

I remember Taricco doing the left back gig quite often, especially last
season when neither Ziege or Thatcher were available.

My least favourite Spurs player. Ugh.

In a bulldog type of way, yes.

He's really a wingback, whilst Taricco is extremely bad going forward.
Anyway, though I like Ziege, trying for a Colin Cooper or French
defender like Coly would've been awesome. Shame.

So Taricco's still at Spurs? I do fondly recall him doing some brave
defending in the "singing in the rain" win over M United a couple of
years back. It stands out because the rest of the time... Oh well, he
does a lot with his less-than-abundance of talent. Apparently not enough
for the Premiership however. Who does Coly play for?

Yes, unfortunately. I mean who else would get our red-cards if not for
he and Gus Poyet.

Birmingham City, the bluenoses. I would love for Ferdinand Coly to
play for us. Did you remember his form in the World Cup? HOW did he
end up at BC???

Spurs, Real Madrid without the top line attack, a decent midfield and a
defence of the "quality" of Real Madrid.

20th place beckons ?

Win of European championship 1996, UEFA-Cup 1996 and 'Deutscher
Meister' 1997 with Bayern Munich, isn't bad, is it?
At Euro 1996 Ziege was next to Sammer and Eilts the best German player
(especially against Czech Republik (2x) and England). Of course since
them his performances haven't been achieving constant international
top level, but have a close look at his injuries in this time...

cheers,
Stefan
