With Morris and Williams occupying the one and two spots, the Cardinals are
still short 3 starters. (I imagine that Haren will compete for a spot, but
it would be better to start him at Memphis.) Who, then, do want for these
other spots?

Assuming the Cardinals don't have much to spend, here are my suggestions (if
anyone is asking) and "estimates" for their 2004 salaries.

Miguel Batista: 2.5-4.0 million
Jeff Suppan: 1.0-2.5 million
Brian Anderson: 1.5-2.5 million

total salary: 5 to 9 million
