Has any team ever added 3 worse stiffs

in a shorter period of time during spring training than the Cards this
spring?

The stiifs are Tony Womack, Brian Hunter and now Roger Cedeno.

Speed with nothing to back it up kills a team's chances of winning.

Well at least there will be no shortage of pinch runners.
