Who said he was a bum off the street? I said getting on a pracice squad
via a tryout is the pro football equivalent of signing a guy off the
street.

I am happy for him and was happy with what he was able to do for the
Rams last year. Nobody said he was a bum.

we will see...injuries are never an excuse though...the bears might have
lost the caliber of players the rams had,but the werein fact
valuable...Olin Kruetz was a all-pro as well as Warrick Holdman...if Martz
is such a great coach then the injuries the rams had should not have made
a difference...Martz was wasting timeouts early in games and stupid stuff
like that...some of the injuries didn't mater, such as Warner's, Bulger
filled in for him with no problem....excuses, excuses, the rams were bad
last year, face it

You're on crack. The Rams are poised to give the 49ers a run for the money
this season. Thank the football Gods if we don't have another 9/11 so the
league can fix it so the Patriots
win again.

No disrespect intended but you'd be better off rooting for the Rams this
season. They have a team prepared to challenge the current NFC West
Champions for the title.

The Bears ( which I confess a soft spot for ) are going nowhere
until the front office and coaching staff are out of there and replaced with
better people. And before you tell me how great Jerry Angelo is, remember he

If the Rams can keep Pace, I like them at 10-6. Will Martz leave in
Warner for half the season if he's lame, or give Bugler an early shot?
