but I am not “that” upset about loosing this one. C’mon, the one thing
we all agreed on before this game was that the defense was questionable,
they didn’t look that bad at all. And the other thing to remember is
that this offense can put some points on the board. I agree that the red
zone play calling was not the greatest but look at the positives, we
held a playoff team (some say superbowl bound) to three field goals and
My 2 cents,
Moparholic 2012-04-22 05:26:54
I agree Brian, the D looked fairly decent today. Too bad they couldn’t
keep the Colts out of field goal range at the end.
Guess they’ll just have to take it out on the ratbirds next week.
Mike oxbig 2012-04-22 05:27:05
We just simply have to start winning this kind of game. As soon as we gave
them the opportunity to possess it last with a tie score, I knew we were
going to lose.
I’m very concerned with our “red zone” play calling, the mass of penalties
on the o-line, and Holcomb’s turnovers.
I don’t think Couch would have done even as well. He would have been sacked
a slew of times from holding the ball too long.
Thewiz 2012-04-22 05:27:26
Holcomb IS NOT Favre, he can’t make the throws like Favre, and he needs
to stop trying. Forced the throws and was lucky to only get 2 picked off. I
am behind the Decision to play KH, but today he did what we all blasted
Brownstown 2012-04-22 05:27:43
I’d MUCH rather see Kyle Boller, Jamal Lewis and Travis Taylor then the 3 we
saw today. B-more has NOTHING on offense. 8 men in the box and tee off.
Doublee 2012-04-22 05:27:45
I’m not either. Hey; it could be worse…at least they didn’t get the
a**** kicked like the Ravens or Bengals.
Moparholic 2012-04-25 23:43:05
You got it BT, their D looked like swiss cheese today too.
Brownstown 2012-04-25 23:43:15
WHAT TIME IS IT
WHAT TIME IS IT
ANY TURNOVERS IN THE HOUSE
nope nope nope nope
Parrotrob 2012-04-25 23:43:19
This from a team that put up SIX against the defense of Indianapolis. O**,
that’s absolutely priceless. Thanks, B-T.
Brownstown 2012-04-25 23:43:27
Sure, after one game. Talk trash. I’d be willing to bet when it’s all said
and done this year, Cleveland’s offense will be much better then Baltimores.
You – have the same old s***. Average *at best* WR’s. Bad QB (may be good
someday, but he IS a rookie) Todd Heap and Jamal Lewis.
Parrotrob 2012-04-25 23:43:35
Damnit, B-T, knock it off!! I just got finished laughing from your last
post, and then you come up with this gem:
Again, from a BROWNS fan? Kyle Boller has more talent in his little finger
than any QB the new illegitimate Browns have ever had. You’re right – he
“may be good someday”. Too bad we can’t say the same about Kelly Holcomb.
Brownstown 2012-04-25 23:43:39
I laugh about your receivers too.
Travis Taylor there’s your average guy and it’s all downhill from there.
Prove me wrong.
Brownstown 2012-04-25 23:43:43
Oh this was funny was well. 43 passes and he came with 150 yards? Sheesh.
Nice to see that genuius Billick offense working it’s magic once again this
year. I can’t wait till next Sunday. You won’t be in here after 4:00.
Parrotrob 2012-04-25 23:43:49
Oh yeah, you definately got me there, B-T. Only 55 yards from our leading
receiver today – you’re right, that’s pathetic. And your receivers are
clearly VASTLY superior – I mean, you had one that actually got fifty-SEVEN
yards today. With a mighty aerial attack like that, it’s a wonder the six
points you got today weren’t at LEAST 9 or 10.
Brownstown 2012-04-25 23:43:51
I’m not basing any judgements on today. Tell me where you got better on
offense this season.
Doublee 2012-04-25 23:43:55
Oh this is getting absolutely tired. This is ParrotRob’s version of
having a bad day at the office and coming home and kicking the dog. We
all very sorry the Ravens had a very bad day Rob. I realize this group
has about 10 times the posts as the Ravens ng but must you continue to
fight with everyone? Take all that pent up frustration and go do
something constructive in the Ravens ng.
Time to kill about 20 of your worthless post from today alone.
Parrotrob 2012-04-25 23:43:57
Sure I will. You see, B-T, I’m not the one in here running my mouth about
how great my team is. I am fully aware that both Baltimore and Cleveland
are sporting mediocre teams this year. What keeps me amused in here is
folks (like Tim, for instance) who talk like your team is the incarnation of
the 72 Dolphins or something. Things like:
yards and 3 scores <---(this one was great!) So, you see, I have nothing to worry about. You guys are the ones putting your (illegitimate) team on a pedestal from which it is a long, long way down.
Parrotrob 2012-04-25 23:44:02
Nah. The Ravens newsgroup isn't full of delusional idiots posting things like "You know, I think Kyle Boller is the second coming of Christ himself and the Ravens should win today, oh, say... 97-3."
Brownstown 2012-04-25 23:44:07
Find me a person in the nation who picked this game as 9-6. Even 15-10. The Browns offense isn't as bad as it looked today. Needs some tweaking, for sure. Regardless, we'll still be looking down at the Ravens. 🙂
Parrotrob 2012-04-25 23:44:12
Of course you will. People with no spines can't lift their heads to look UP at anything. 😉
Brownstown 2012-04-25 23:44:14
Corey Fuller was looking down an awful lot today. Maybe he has that same problem. Hahah.
Brian 2012-04-25 23:44:23
Nah. Just one delusional idiot that keeps posting to himself. Bernie Jr.
Knuckle chucki 2012-04-25 23:44:51
Never be upset about the Browns losing...it will kill you sooner than later.
Stan 2012-04-27 23:28:15
Oh yeah. The second coming of Brian Sipe just lit up the score board with his accuracy.
Stan 2012-04-27 23:28:33
Hey, they got that offensive guru Brian Billick.
Stan 2012-04-27 23:28:36
The Bengals ?? LOL ! Good day to break out the all black uniforms, when it's 90 degrees on the playing field !
Stan 2012-04-27 23:28:43
Uh huh. Needs to put the back-up dude back on the bench.
Mike oxbig 2012-05-01 15:23:46
You nailed one Stan! What genius decided to go in all black in game one???
Brownstown 2012-05-01 15:24:49
If you think ONE person is responsible for an offesne running badly, then you better stick to a solo sport like tennis of golf. I gave Couch about 35 losses at QB before I started on him. I'm sticking to my guns, Holcomb is the better QB. Don't flip out over one game. And all in all, he wasn't horrible. I've seen worse Couch performances against worse defenses.
Stan 2012-05-07 04:59:22
one??? Thanks. Seattle wore all putrid sea green as well. I think I saw at least one other team with same colors for jerseys and pants. The Saints ?? Hey, remember the Ravens uniforms during their inaugural season ? Black pants, purple jerseys, and that helmet logo designed by the stadium usher who wanted to be paid for it ?
Stan 2012-05-17 20:07:22
No one trusts what you see, considering the stupid pics you posted from training camp. The sooner they put Holcomb on the bench, where he belongs, the sooner we salvage the season.
Brownstown 2012-05-21 12:32:34
What color goes good with sweat stains, fashion critic?
Brownstown 2012-05-21 12:32:38
Oh shut the f*** up already you mental midget. Repeat yourself 34 more times today, why don't you?
Moparholic 2012-05-21 12:32:54
Do you have more than one choice? From: Stan (email@example.com) Newsgroups: alt.support.depression.medication Regarding Effexor XR.... 1) Does the excess sweating ever go away ? 2) Does the constipation ever go away, or is it a continual necessity to ingest fiber products and stool softeners ? -- GO #40
Stan 2012-05-25 05:35:18
You tell me, p**** lips !
Stan 2012-05-25 05:35:23
Haha ! I am watching you, every home game, and you know not from which direction my eyes peer on your head. Behave, lest your fine person's PSL gets revoked ! Every game ! 8 ~D
